Charme Hotel La Bitta

We loved our two nights at *Hotel La Bitta* in Sardinia. The pool was peaceful, the beach was beautiful, and the staff were so sweet and welcoming the whole time. Breakfast was good too, with gluten-free choices. The one letdown was the food by the pool, which could use better quality, more variety, and more flavor. Still, we’d come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.

The women on staff were very friendly and helpful, and the cleaning was done well. I also loved the view from the bar. But for the price, I found the hotel very overpriced: both the rooms and the grounds are tiny. It’s a smoking hotel, so if you don’t smoke, you can’t really open your room window or enjoy the bar in the evening. The spa bath is small and crowded at night. It could be a lovely little hotel at a lower price, but there are better options for what they charge.

I went to a wedding at Hotel La Bitta and its restaurant, and everything was handled perfectly. The sea views were breathtaking, the staff were friendly and professional, and the food was top quality. The organization was flawless. With its elegant setting and careful attention to detail, it’s an ideal place for special events.

The staff were the highlight of our stay. The front desk and restaurant teams were incredibly kind and welcoming, and made us feel well looked after. The property is beautiful and well located, and our spacious, airy, modern room had a comfortable bed, good A/C, and a great shower. A few things could be better, though. Guests often claimed sunbeds by leaving towels early, even though signs said not to, and staff didn’t enforce the rule. We struggled to find a spot, even when most of the pool area was empty. Breakfast was fine but basic, and the coffee was disappointing, especially by Italian standards. Our room, 502, was right by the pool, which was lovely, but seemed to share a wall with a staff area, perhaps the kitchen. We heard clattering plates and loud voices late at night around midnight and early in the morning around 6:45 am, which was disruptive. We still had a very enjoyable stay, but there’s room for improvement, and the price feels high for the standard.
