I Girasoli

The room was roomy, clean, and nicely decorated, and breakfast was a highlight. It was different each day, with a good mix of sweet and savory things. Simona runs this charming B&B and is so sweet and always available. I'll definitely come back 💜

The rooms were clean and tidy, with private bathrooms, but the towels were rough, and the room was cleaned only once during the week. At another B&B where I'd stayed, it was done daily. Outside, there was just one table and a set of wooden benches, so there wasn't space for anyone else to sit out. The garden looked lovely, but guests couldn't use it. Breakfast at I Girasoli was scant: packaged food, very little fruit, little single-serve juice meant for children, and no savory choices even when requested. The jam jars had been left open in the fridge for days. There was a big PRIVATE sign on the fridge, so we respected it. The owner didn't make us feel comfortable. Breakfast ran until 10, but if we arrived at 9:20 she'd point at the clock in annoyance, and there was something to complain about every day. Dear Simona, I'm responding to you. I'm sorry my review upset you, but it's the truth. We were apparently the only unfriendly Sardinians, and if you'd been even a little professional, you wouldn't have replied that way. Negative reviews need to be accepted too, without a clever joke about my husband. I stayed at a B&B in Anzio where the towels were wonderful, white and soft, and the owner was kind and always smiling, unlike you. Sardinia is for everyone, so remember that.

The owner was lovely and made us a wonderful breakfast. Our room was spacious, very clean, and in a well-kept house with a big garden. We'd be glad to return!

Between Tortoli and Arbatax, this is a charming B&B with a friendly, helpful host. The room and amenities are more than adequate, and the value for money is good. Breakfast wasn't especially extensive, though it was enough; there wasn't a savory option. Recommended.
