We meant to spend two nights at Hotel Orri in Tortolì, but wound up staying three, which probably says enough about how much we liked it. The staff were fantastic, the location was perfect, breakfast tasted good, and the price was easy to live with. The hotel has a slightly tired, lived-in feel, though it isn’t worn out. The lift was out the whole time. In the bathroom, the wall-mounted shower head made it hard to rinse below the waist, and the toilet would leak on and off at night for no obvious reason. We enjoyed our stay despite those quirks and would come back, maybe with a bucket for the bathroom.

Noise was the big problem for us. We could hear people having sex every day and night, which felt unacceptable with children and was unpleasant for us too. On the good side, the staff and cleaning ladies were lovely, the hotel was very clean, and even the pool was spotless. Breakfast suited us well since we like sweet food in the morning. Our room was spacious and nice, although the bathroom was narrow.

The room and bathroom were on the small side, but both were clean, and breakfast was very good. The hotel is right in the center of the village, close to restaurants.

We booked for one night at short notice. The room itself was fine and clean, but the air conditioning was already broken when we arrived. Staff said they’d sort it out while we were away, yet nothing had changed when we returned. The caretaker tried a second time, without success. Spending the night without working air conditioning was really uncomfortable and affected our stay a lot. The way the hotel dealt with the unresolved problem was disappointing, and the experience overall was very unsatisfactory.

We liked it enough to add another night. The hotel is right in downtown Tortoli, with nice views, friendly staff, and a strong air conditioner. There were free bottles of water in the room and a fun, upscale rooftop bar. The price was reasonable too.
