Biagio and his wife make the place feel warm and welcoming, and they go out of their way to meet your needs. The owner, Biagio, is a wonderful host and a friend. Thanks to Biagio and Alfonsina.

The rooms are large and clean, and the property is well maintained. Breakfast is generous and includes local products. Biagio and Alfonsina are fabulous hosts who make you feel at home and give useful advice for getting around, especially about routes and food, so make use of their tips. It's in a quiet but charming town, and for visiting Calabria and Basilicata, this is the best B&B to stay in. I'd recommend Il giardino di Julia to anyone visiting the area.

The room was lovely and very clean, and breakfast had a rich selection of local products. The hosts were kind and friendly. The property's parking access is narrow and steep, and feels very dangerous if you're not an experienced driver. I'd leave the car in the public lot 200 meters away. Waking up was rough because of the screams from women living nearby, so earplugs might help 😂. The price isn't especially competitive.

We came back after a year, and I can confirm the place is clean and the hospitality and friendliness are still top-notch. It's a lovely green setting 2 km from the sea, and Mr. Biagio is a welcoming, friendly owner. We'll be back again. Highly recommended.
