After a six-hour drive, I needed somewhere quick to rest, and this place was perfect for that. The location is good, the views are amazing, and the room was comfortable and spacious.

The shared kitchen was a nice touch, and the terrace on the top floor has a beautiful view. We stayed one night at B&B La Rue in Tortoreto Alto to break up our drive and, especially, to eat arrosticini. It’s right in the historic center. We picked a room with its own bathroom; the room itself was very small but fine for sleeping. Breakfast is at Bar Panorama, and although we didn’t meet the owner in person since she isn’t on site, she was kind and friendly. The cleanliness of both the room and bathroom was a real letdown. With that lack of cleaning, I don’t think the price matched the quality.
