We had a nice stay in a clean room, and the pool was clean too. Breakfast was abundant, there’s an elevator, and the location is great, beside the botanical garden and a short walk from the lake. It’s very pet-friendly, with lots of green space and a balcony in our room for our dog. The hair dryer was really dated and took ages to dry my hair. If they replaced it and provided slippers for guests, it would be pretty close to perfect.

All the staff were engaging and helpful, and the hotel has the facilities you’d expect or need for an enjoyable holiday. It’s beautiful, and I thoroughly recommend it.

Dinner was delicious, and the service throughout my stay was amazing. The hotel’s exterior is stylish and beautiful, and the location is excellent. The rooms, though, are very dated, and the bathrooms are in poor condition. There’s no sound insulation, so I could hear everything from the neighboring rooms and corridor. From around 6:30 or 7 a.m. onward, I couldn’t sleep. I was pleased with the service and location, but disappointed by the rooms and lack of soundproofing.

I've had better breakfasts on the streets of Hamburg, even from homeless people. And this was the worst coffee I've had in Italy.

Breakfast was included in the nightly price, and there was a huge choice of really tasty food. The dining room looks out over the pool and lovely landscaped garden. Our room was tidy and clean, with a charming little terrace or balcony. The hotel itself is in a peaceful spot right by the beach, and a relaxed walk along the lake gets you to the city center in about 15 minutes. The staff were very friendly and surprised us with how many languages they spoke. We had a wonderful time, highly recommend! :)
