The architecture is extraordinary, and the lake view is breathtaking. It's a peaceful retreat, though getting there means going down quite a few steps. That's part of what makes it so tranquil. Take care when driving out of the parking area, but it's manageable if you're cautious. A truly special place, highly recommended.

The house is beautiful, but getting out to do anything is a huge hassle. The only pedestrian route is along the highway, and driving out onto it is always dangerous. There are 110 steps between the parking lot and front door, steep stairs inside, and no air conditioning. Access to the lake is very slippery. In the evenings there are lots of insects. We were charged €48 for the rotten wooden mat in the shower when we checked out, out of almost €3,000 for the week. This place seems suited only to people who stay inside the house. It didn't feel like a relaxing stay.

I won't recommend this place. I'd rather keep it to myself.

The host was available, and the price was fair.
