Puesta de Sol

We loved the room’s design, and it was clean and spacious, with an amazing bathroom. The mountain views from the location are breathtaking. We had a lovely stay at Puesta De Sol and will definitely return.

The peace and beauty of Puesta Del Sol made this a place I’ll return to. The owner has a heart of gold and was so thoughtful. Even with the language difference, she arranged our drivers and tours and helped us get around the Amalfi coast without putting a dent in our budget. Our driver charged less than 10 dollars a day for luxury cars and door-to-door service. There’s a little five-minute walk because drivers can’t come up the hill to the hotel, but honestly, it still felt like door service. The Amalfi hills are no joke. She also suggested delicious restaurants that don’t break the bank. Thank you, mama Antonietta. I only know enough Italian to ask for help, and I wish I could read your language. I think I’d move there and spend the rest of my life as an American expatriate. Surely some people see beyond New York and appreciate the beauty of the nature here, what hasn’t been destroyed. Most traces of history beyond 250 years are just dust in the wind. I love your country. I visited in 2004 and have dreamed of living there ever since. All be well, and may the glory of your history shine forever. Peace.

The owner, Antonietta, looked after us throughout our three-day New Year’s Eve stay on the Amalfi Coast, with kindness, helpfulness, and good advice. Our experience was absolutely positive. The room was welcoming and very clean, with a lovely bathroom. It has an outdoor terrace with a nice view, but the New Year’s temperatures meant we couldn’t use it. I highly recommend the place in winter, and especially in summer, when the sea is only a 15-minute drive away.
