The rooms were okay, but the customer service needs serious work. There wasn’t even a plug for the bathtub. Save your money and stay somewhere else. I came with my partner for his birthday, but while we were there he assaulted me. I was distraught and needed help getting home and arranging a flight, so I messaged Marika. That was my first mistake. He seemed to find the situation funny and waited an hour to call the police because it was an inconvenience to him. When the police finally arrived, I got my phone back, then was told I had to leave the hotel after everything that had happened. It was around 2 a.m., and I had nowhere to stay. I spent 15 hours alone outside the airport. I asked Marika for some kind of refund since he was making me leave after just one safe night, but that was a no. He said he’d refund the £20 city tax, then handed me €8. When I questioned it, he said he’d given the rest to my ex partner. I’d paid it myself, so that seemed strange and unprofessional, though I’m not hung up on the money.

Getting around was easy, with ample parking, good bus connections for anyone without a car, and frequent ferries to Amalfi. There are local restaurants nearby too. Gen was a wonderful host, full of information, and his website was really helpful. He was always ready to lend a hand. The rooms were excellent, the minibar was reasonably priced, and breakfast was excellent Italian style, with ham, cheese, and salami available as well. We’d love to come back!

The warm welcome and attention to detail made a real impression on me. The staff were friendly and attentive, and my room was comfortable and clean. The amenities were excellent too. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend the hotel. I’m looking forward to another visit.

Off season was a lovely time to stay at this B&B. My partner and I were very happy with the whole visit, especially the gorgeous view, spotless rooms, and warm hospitality. On arrival, we got an overview of the valley, its food, and the towns along the Amalfi Coast. They also pointed us to a local restaurant where we had our best meal in Italy so far. Good price, too. We’d planned just one night at Tra i Monti on the way to somewhere else, but Marika and the staff made us want to stay another. The hotel is very well maintained and close enough to the coast, and the balcony had the best views. The staff went above and beyond with information and facilities that helped make our trip memorable. We’ll definitely be back. Recommended 👍🏼
