The owner was friendly, the apartment was nice and had air conditioning, and the location was central. Italian breakfast at the Cafe Code bar downstairs was great, as described in my separate review of Cafe Code. The cleaning staff were also really friendly and helpful. The one downside was that the Wi-Fi didn't work for half our stay.

The welcome was very kind. From the street and the stairs, I wasn't sure what to expect, but the room turned out spacious and had everything we needed. There were two bottles of water in the fridge, a sofa and coffee table, and the bathroom was clean and worked well, with all the linens and complimentary soaps. Some tarallucci and sweets had been left on the coffee table too. Too bad I forgot to take them! ^_^

November 2012: The apartment was clean, well cared for, and everything worked. The owner was very friendly. Traffic and nightlife make the area noisy, so it suits people looking for a lively stay better than anyone wanting peace and quiet.

We came back for a second week-long stay and enjoyed it just as much as the first. The rooms feel spacious, with tall ceilings, pastel-colored walls, and big windows that open onto balconies. Everything was spotless, and the square below has a pretty little grove of trees. Breakfast is included in the price at Code Café, where it was also a nice chance to sit and socialize. Francesco, the B&B host, was very attentive.
