From the terrace, the rooftops look amazing, especially in the warm light of morning and evening. The lively city sounds make it feel like a holiday, but no car noise reaches the room. The original houses in Trani have tall steps, so getting around the stairs takes some effort, but it's worth it. Our lovely room had its own small terrace, and there was another on the roof to share. Each morning we could smell warm croissants in the stairwell, and breakfast with lots of fruit was waiting when we opened the door. The room was carefully tidied every day, and Emilia had a good eye for what guests might need. The bathroom was clean, small, well equipped, and practical. Great hospitality, and I'd also recommend Emilia's nearby bistrot.

Loved the atmosphere, and the food was great. Service was quick too.

The terrace has sofas and a wonderful view of the cathedral, a nice place to spend the evening. The B&B is in historic central Trani, just steps from the cathedral. It's an old house with very small steps, so keep that in mind. The rooms have a fridge, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, TV, and air conditioning. Everything was very clean, and the Italian breakfast was delicious.

The only real plus is the central location. The building is tiny, with narrow, steep stairs that I don't think everyone can manage. Our room was spartan, and the bathroom was so small there was nowhere to put anything and no bidet. Breakfast was the worst part: we had to eat it in the room, and it was just some frozen fruit and a greasy croissant. There's a coffee machine, but no milk. I don't recommend it.

The menu ranges from traditional first courses, like orecchiette with octopus ragù, to raw fish and sandwiches made with local products. There's also a good selection of Apulian beers, a nice touch. This sea-colored white and blue bistro sits on one of the main streets towards Trani Cathedral. The atmosphere is relaxing, just right for an unhurried lunch or dinner.
