Villa Galentino Suite Room

Villa Galentino used to be our regular business stay in Trani, a distinctive, welcoming place that felt like a hidden gem. Since the new management took over, that experience has changed a lot. The place feels impersonal now, and we’ll be looking elsewhere for our regular visits to Puglia, including our current three-week stay in Trani. The dining area used to be available outside breakfast, but guests are now restricted to meals served by the hotel. There’s no lunch or dinner service, so the room sits empty, and guests can’t use it for their own meals. The microwave that was once self-service now requires staff assistance, which is inconvenient and puzzling. The new manager’s manner was even more disappointing. In our recent stay, interactions with the manager felt unwelcoming and sometimes rude to us and our guests. That’s a sharp change from the friendly, accommodating atmosphere Villa Galentino used to have. We hope management reconsiders these policies, because we would have gladly continued staying here.

We had a great two-night stay. The rooms are spacious and spotless, and the memory foam mattresses made for excellent sleep. Breakfast had a good mix of sweet and savory food, fresh fruit, local products, and freshly served coffee. I mentioned when booking that I’m celiac, and there were plenty of gluten-free choices for me. Villa Galentino is a brand-new property in an elegant, quiet area, tastefully furnished throughout. Even out of season, the pool area was lovely and clean. The staff were kind and professional, and the location is handy for getting around and visiting local attractions. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

The beds are more comfortable than those in a five-star hotel, and breakfast is superb. The villa is lovely, meticulously looked after, and has a stunning pool and a warm, welcoming feel. I recommend it if you’re passing through or visiting Trani. I come back whenever I can. Thanks to everyone!

I was traveling for work and only got to stay one night, but I’d come back for longer. The room was spacious, and our suite had a lovely terrace overlooking the pool. The property is new, elegant, well cared for, and pleasant, with a nice welcome and good amenities. The pool is lovely, and you can have an aperitif beside it. It’s very quiet at the end of a dead-end street, though parking can be tricky to find. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of sweet and savory choices.
