Azzoli Trapani - Apartments & Skypool - Adults Only

We loved the small rooftop pool and its gorgeous sea view, and breakfast up there was delicious. The rooms are spacious, clean, and each has its own design. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is handy for shops and restaurants. Azzoli is beautiful, with lovely architecture and stylish touches. Highly recommend.

BEWARE!! I waited 8 months to write this because I gave the hotel plenty of chances to fix the problem. We booked three nights starting May 13, 2025 through Hotels.com and paid in January with AMEX. At check-in in May, staff confirmed it was paid in full, then asked for a card for incidentals. AMEX wouldn't work for them, so I gave them a VISA. It was odd, since AMEX worked everywhere else on our trip. There was nothing to pay at checkout. Back in the US, I found a second charge for all three nights on my VISA, $657.83, even though we'd paid five months earlier with AMEX. Over the following 8 months I emailed, called, and spoke with hotel staff several times. They repeatedly promised to credit the VISA and agreed it was a straightforward double charge. A driver we'd hired in Italy also called the hotel locally several times, and kept being told they were handling it. A year after the AMEX payment and 8 months after the VISA charge, I still had no credit. VISA wouldn't reverse it because the original Hotels.com payment was on AMEX, so they couldn't see both transactions and wouldn't accept the AMEX records. I'm out more than $650. I believe it wasn't an accident when they said AMEX wasn't working and asked for another card at check-in. BEWARE of staying here.

We found the hotel clean and right in the center, and the entry and location directions were clear. Replies on WhatsApp came quickly. The staff and management seemed to care about our stay, and worked well together. They were also warm and happy to share suggestions. We hope to come back with our extended family.

The rooftop pool was a peaceful little bonus at the end of our Sicily trip, and the service from the staff was fantastic. Azzolli is in a former church that's been updated in a modern style. I'd gladly recommend staying here in Trapani.
