Privacy was nonexistent, with cameras inside and outside, and the place felt like a prison. There's no breakfast, and the host shares the apartment, coming and going without ringing the bell. The tourist tax is too high. Not a place I'd recommend to families.

The rooms were spotless and had air conditioning, a fridge, TV, and a hairdryer in the bathroom. The furnishings are old-fashioned, but still in good shape and work fine. The manager was friendly and helpful, and payment by card or cash was possible. The property is on the first floor of a residential building, with no private parking, so the car has to stay on the street. Erice's cable car is 1,500 meters away. I'd walk there since the paid lot may have no spaces. Street parking can also mean dealing with illegal attendants.

The location is handy for the salt mill, port, and highway, with bakeries and shops nearby. The famous church of the Madonna di Trapani is close as well. Everything was impeccably clean, the beds were comfortable, and the sheets and linen were kept fresh. Highly recommended.

The neighborhood outside isn't very appealing, though inside the accommodation is much nicer. My room had a TV, air conditioning, a fridge, and a very large bathroom with a bathtub. There's a shared room for eating, plus a balcony.
