The room looked like the photos, just tired and dirty. We found a bad smell as soon as we opened the building door, and that should have warned us. The room offered to us wasn't ensuite, while the only ensuite room hadn't been made up, despite confirming our arrival time and phoning from the airport. After seeing the city, we took a siesta and woke up to a room full of mosquitoes. We killed over 30, and each one left blood marks on the walls and sheets. Looking closer, we found several red stained, squashed remains behind furniture and high up, so we clearly weren't the first to deal with them. The owner was late and seemed interested only in collecting the cash. This was a horrible experience that has put us off staying in any B&B again. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, however desperate, and would advise avoiding the owner and establishment. A shocking place to stay. You have been warned.

We stayed at this B&B in early September, and the location was excellent, just a short walk from the center. There was plenty of parking, plus several cafes across the street for breakfast. The rooms were large, and so were the bathrooms. A few things could be improved: the cleaning, as there was some hair and dust; bathroom shelves would be useful; and non-slip strips on the internal staircase steps would help.
