Nh Crystal Hotel

The rooms were roomy and clean, with a jumbo bed, and breakfast was great. Staff spoke English well and made us feel welcome. It’s a short walk to the city center, and although the hotel faces the station, the area is quiet and the station isn’t busy. The bathroom could use a little maintenance.

The beds were comfortable, and the room was fairly spacious despite having very little furniture. It’s a modern building beside a quiet railway station, but the city center is about 20 minutes away. There were only blackout blinds, no curtains, so people in the neighboring building could see straight into our room. The walls were badly scuffed, and the bathroom was large but had stains on its walls. Breakfast was downstairs in a basement room that felt like a college cafeteria. There was some variety, though the food was basic to poor quality.

The room had no smell, and the modern interior gave the place a chain hotel feel. It’s in a newer looking building on the corner, so there wasn’t much noise from nearby buildings. The price was affordable for the quality. Breakfast costs extra, but there are a few cafes a two-minute walk away.

The rooms were spacious and well kept, and the hotel seemed secure. Its appearance is better than Google Street View suggests. There’s some graffiti nearby, though it isn’t too bad, and the old town is only minutes away. Breakfast is a standard European buffet.
