We lost 216eur because the owner didn't meet us with the keys, so we couldn't check in. Apparently, you can only get the keys by meeting the owner in person, which feels absurd these days. If you aren't there by 7pm, you may end up sleeping in your car or outside unless you can pay over 200eur for another booking. This was the worst experience I've had in all my travels. I've never had anything like it happen before. Don't stay here.

The view was breathtaking, and the room was comfortable in a great location. A few small kitchen basics were missing: wine glasses, a toaster, dish towels, and paper towels.

Beware, this accommodation is a scam! He says he can't meet you to hand over the keys, then cancels, knowing he'll get the full amount.

The sea view from the window was amazing, and the house was spacious and well equipped. We made good use of the washing machine, and parking nearby was very cheap per day. The owner was kind and gave us great information about the city, Favignana, and Erice. The floor could have been cleaner. Since the apartment is on the first floor, an open window leaves you exposed to people passing by. The bedroom curtain was broken too, so there was no way to block the light or keep people from seeing in. The sea wind rattled the windows and made the place noisy at night. I didn't mind, but my boyfriend needed earplugs, so I wouldn't suggest it for anyone very sensitive to noise.
