We were worn out on our self-supported cycling trip, so we booked at the last minute and contacted the host. She didn't have anywhere to store our bikes, but kindly made an exception and let us keep them in her private space. The apartment was clean, cozy, and authentically Italian, with a nice balcony overlooking the streets and the sea in the distance. The town center and places to eat were easy to reach on foot. We had a good stay.

I come back every year now. Trappeto has become my happy place, and Concetta is a big part of that. She always welcomes me to her lovely home in the historic center. Her apartments feel Sicilian, with a kitchen, bathroom, and balcony, and they're cozy and spotlessly clean. The beaches, bars, restaurants, and supermarket are all just a few steps away. After getting tired of the crowds in Mondello, I wanted a change and tried this small fishing village. Time feels slower here. There are several beautiful sandy beaches to choose from, and in the evening you can have a sundowner cocktail high above the sea. I've rarely felt so relaxed.

Concetta is a lovely landlady. She gave us great suggestions for excursions and restaurants, and speaks excellent German. We felt very well looked after. The apartment was beautifully furnished and clean, and the location was fantastic. We'll be back! 😀
