The Re Porcino menu was such a treat, with lots of creative dishes made from excellent ingredients. We got there after a beautiful drive to Traversella and had a table by the window. Fantastic meal. I’d highly recommend it, and their website is really useful too. Mille grazie!

We found a room while traveling through the area, and the service was exceptional. Dinner brought a great range of local dishes, all at a very good price. A real gem.

The food is magnificent, and the view over the valley is lovely. There’s a quiet feel to the place, but it was absolutely fine with kids. They don’t have a kids’ menu, though if you ask, the kitchen team will prepare something. Service was friendly, very good, and fast. Just one guy was handling it all, and he had everything under control.

The three of us tried the seasonal mushroom tasting menu for lunch on a Saturday, while heading to Aosta. We were the only non-Italians there, and everyone was so kind to us. The food and wine were gorgeous and incredibly affordable. Traversella is reached by a narrow, winding road, but the trip was worth it.
