The house is a handy base for visiting places around the region, including Pompeii, Herculaneum, Sorrento, and the Amalfi coast. The train station and a small grocery store are both a five minute walk away, while the town's main strip of restaurants is about a 15 minute walk. The hosts stocked the home with the everyday things we needed and even bought a special treat for our arrival. Giuseppe was very accommodating whenever we had a question or needed help, and even made a special trip to pick us up when we got lost on the way. We had a great stay and would happily stay again next time we're in the region.

We loved staying here. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked properly. The host was friendly, answered all our questions, and shared recommendations for nearby areas. There are also two terraces, perfect for an apéro.

A great host, who answered our questions and gave us lots of information about local attractions and tourist spots. The place has everything needed for a family holiday, is close to the train station, and about 20 minutes from the beach.

The garden was lovely to sit in, and the ground floor flat, Villa Ella, was spacious, comfortable, and had all the amenities. Everything was well maintained. The owners were very nice. They provided a starter breakfast kit, plus coffee and water, and there’s parking on the road outside. The train station is a five minute walk away, with connections to Naples, Sorrento, Pompeii, and Herculaneum. I’d definitely recommend it and stay again if I’m in the area. Contact the owners directly for the best deals.

We slept so well, it was completely quiet from the street. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and Tina and Silvio made us feel very welcome. We had a lovely stay at il Gatto Rosso!
