We only stayed one night, but San Anton Hotel in Trecastagni made a real impression. The views are lovely, with Mount Etna right nearby, and the location in the heart of Trecastagni is convenient, about 30 minutes from Catania airport. The hotel’s decor follows the idea of a Grand Tour through 17th and 18th century Sicily. Our elegant room was thoughtfully put together, had its own balcony, and offered every comfort we could ask for. Each room carries the name of a Sicilian city, a nice touch that adds to the sense of place. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was a generous, authentic Italian spread, and Essenza, the on-site restaurant, serves local Sicilian food with clear passion and pride. For eastern Sicily, San Anton brings together character, good food, and heartfelt hospitality. We’ll definitely return for a longer stay.

The village setting gives San Anton Hotel a lovely historic feel, while the hotel itself is a luxurious, modern oasis. The rooms are quiet and exceptionally comfortable, with thoughtful details throughout. I slept especially well in the outstandingly comfortable bed. The design is stunning, tasteful, and carefully considered. Jolanda welcomed us warmly when we arrived, and she was kind, helpful, and always smiling. The hotel also feels very secure, which made the stay more comfortable. A memorable mix of elegance, comfort, and modern design. Thanks, Jolanda!

The village square is only a short walk away, and it was lively all week, making our evening strolls feel like a real local experience. The atmosphere was full of energy but still relaxed, and people in the village were so friendly and welcoming. We feel lucky to have been there at such a lively time. Our stay was perfect, and I highly recommend it! 🤎💙💜

For the price, this place offers really good value. It has the feel of a bed and breakfast blended with a small boutique hotel right in town. The rooms are spacious, easily big enough for two, and the owner and staff are super friendly and accommodating. They speak English, too. Breakfast is simple, but has what you need to start the day. Ask for a room with the wraparound terrace.
