Hotel Villa Edy

Luca, the hotel manager, even drove us to our engagement dinner in his own car when we couldn’t find a taxi. That says a lot about the service here. We loved the feel of the place and our room, and the whole stay was wonderful. I’d give it six stars if I could.

The views alone would bring us back. We spent a week at this lovely property, where the staff were professional, helpful, and outstanding. Our apartment felt cozy and spacious, with great air conditioning and a new smart TV in the living room. The showers are all small, which is just how they are here. There’s free parking, handy if you rent a car, and the pool area is a relaxing spot.

The walk up to the hotel is steep, though manageable even with luggage, and that seems to be common around Lake Como. Once there, the rooms are clean and updated, with lovely views by the lake. The location is good and the price reasonable, with ferry access about 15-20 minutes away on foot. Some roads were closed for construction, but the staff went out of their way to help us get transport to the station. One of them even drove us to the ferry port in his own car. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay and would love to come back. The rooms were clean and the air conditioning worked really well. The location made it easy to explore lots of lovely places around Lake Como, and the service was outstanding. Everyone was so kind, from the front desk and restaurant to the room cleaning staff.
