Hotel La Perla

Breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the hotel itself is lovely with breathtaking views. The family who own and run the place were wonderful, going out of their way to meet our needs. If you don't have a rental car, arrange taxis in advance. It's a long, steep walk to town, the ferries, the bus stop, and other places. We had a great experience.

The hotel was tidy and well maintained, and the staff were a delight throughout our stay. They were especially helpful in arranging our car. We couldn't recommend it more.

My family and I had a wonderful holiday at hotel La Perla. The view was lovely, and the service felt thoughtful. Everyone was welcoming and attentive to my 18-month-old daughter, which made the stay even better.

The food was good, with a nice range at breakfast. You could also order panini and pizza until about 5 p.m., I think, and there was a dinner menu too. It's small, but still offers good choices. The salmon pasta was the best I've tried in all of Italy. The price felt worth it, and I would recommend this hotel. We had a wonderful room with a lake view from the terrace, and I appreciated that they provided an extra towel for the baby. Hotels often overlook that and leave you making do with small towels. Both the room and common areas were perfectly clean. We were traveling with a baby and worried we might be a bit much, but the staff and hosts were so friendly, helpful, and attentive. The location is ideal, not far from the lake and with easy access to the ferry. Having their own parking was a real plus, since some hotels on Como don't have any. The lake view from the hotel is stunning. After staying at many hotels around Lake Como, where experiences can be a disaster or cost a crazy amount per night, this one really stole my heart.
