A complete disaster! I’ll never have an experience like this again. I’m surprised there’s no authority monitoring these deceptive offers and coupons bought online. When we arrived to check in at the Comovita office at Via Regina 39, we were told we’d be eating somewhere else, at the Britannia Hotel, just a few meters from the check-in office. Nobody had told us the apartment was almost a kilometer away. We went to the hotel with our dog. We’d specifically chosen a coupon that allowed dogs, and I’d called personally to check. But they wouldn’t let us into the restaurant. We were shocked. No restaurant we’ve visited has ever refused our dog, who’s used to it. He’s a Czechoslovakian wolfdog, very gentle, doesn’t bark, and just lies down without moving. So we missed the first meal included in the €79 coupon we’d paid for, plus a €10 dog supplement. We certainly couldn’t leave him in the car in 40°C heat! Then we headed to the room. We had to get the car back and drive almost a kilometer before turning onto a steep road just over a meter wide. We obviously stole the car, because there was barely enough room for a Honda Civic. At the top of the hill, we found the garage spot we’d been shown, then had to carry our suitcases up another hill and some steps to reach the apartment at the top of the road. Taking the car out again is out of the question, so getting to lie on the loungers by the hotel and restaurant pool would mean walking a kilometer. Unthinkable, and especially unacceptable since we hadn’t been warned about any of this. On top of that, we missed lunch too! Never again with Hotel Britannia, Villa La Romantica, the name on the coupon, Secret Garden, or Comovita.
