The staff made everything easy. The receptionist showed us to our room and gave us a map of nearby restaurants and sights. At breakfast, the woman there showed us around, made sure we could sit wherever we liked, and cleared a table for us. There was plenty to choose from without being overwhelming, and fresh eggs and coffee were made to order. The rooms are great, with working air conditioning and a good shower, plus a small balcony overlooking the lake. The beds are a little small, but we made do. It’s quite a drive up to the hotel, but the view over lake Garda makes it worthwhile. Best hotel of my trip so far.

The hotel isn’t right on the lake, but the lake view is stunning. You can drive to Limone Sul Garda for the beach or catch the ferry there. We loved unwinding on the terrace with a cappuccino or a glass of wine, and breakfast was different and delicious each day. There’s a pleasant tea bar and lots of food choices, including options for people with allergies. The hotel is beautiful, the views are lovely from the moment you arrive, and the service is kind and incredible. Our holiday at Villa Selene was perfect. I’d return every year if I didn’t live across the ocean.

There’s a real family feel at Villa Selene, with warm, thoughtful service. We had an amazing time, and both the hotel and the views are great. Breakfast was especially good, with lots of choices and flexibility. I highly recommend it.

Anita and her son Filipo offer the kind of genuine hospitality that makes this small, quiet, family-run hotel feel special. The location is excellent, with magnificent views over lake Garda, and our room had a large terrace facing the lake. We had a fantastic stay. It works just as well for doing absolutely nothing as it does for mountain biking or hiking.
