The town has plenty nearby, from restaurants and bars to supermarkets and even a pool. We were fine with the 30-45 minute drive down to the lake, though it’s worth knowing about. Our room had no lake view, so the panorama from the breakfast room was a lovely surprise. Breakfast had a good range, including lots of fresh fruit. We stayed three days, and the spacious room felt brand new, stayed cool despite the heat, and had a balcony. It’s the best hotel we’ve stayed in. We’ll definitely return. Thank you!

Finding the place can take a little effort since it’s tucked into a small corner of the village. Once there, though, the restaurant views are breathtaking and the food fits the setting beautifully. The staff were attentive and helpful. Our room didn’t face the lake, but The Bear was adorable and gave us a very Italian experience. During our two weeks in Northern Italy, this was our favourite stop. It felt magical, and we can’t recommend it enough.

Locanda al Castelletto is such a cozy, charming place, and the spa was relaxing. We also loved the delicious food and the stunning scenery. Katia made the stay special from the start: she was so kind and helpful on the phone, found us a wonderful room with a breathtaking view, and made us feel welcome with all her care and hospitality. We had an unforgettable time and hope we can return someday. Our little son Kuba🇨🇺 sends special greetings to Annabelle!

The owner told us about Tremosine’s history, the rooms linked to it, and things to see nearby. She was incredibly friendly and always ready to help. The rooms have so much care and detail in their decor that we felt more at home than in a hotel. The rest of the staff were lovely too, and the chef made delicious breakfast and dinner. You can tell they care about their business. We’ll definitely come back.

The booking turned into a real hassle. After arranging it by email, I sent several more emails and made repeated calls to pay the deposit, but got no response. Then, just two days before the trip, they told me the reservation had been cancelled. A bad experience.
