The staff were very nice, the room was clean and pleasant, and breakfast was tasty. The coffee was spot on 👌

Getting into this B&B is nearly impossible. It feels more or less like a prison, except prisons are generally hard to get out of.

The breakfast was varied, plentiful, and neatly laid out. Staff were always smiling and friendly, and the clean rooms were well equipped in a modern, well-maintained building with an elevator. The location and convenient enclosed parking are real advantages. Some rooms have ensuite bathrooms, others share; mine had its own bathroom, but it was adapted for disabled guests. That makes sense given the building’s main purpose, though it could be uncomfortable for some. I’m not sure whether all the rooms are like that, so it may be worth asking before booking. The bed was a bit hard, and its base made noise. Still, it’s worth considering for a stay in Trento.

They canceled the reservation I’d made in mid-July for the December 8 long weekend, just four days before we were due to leave. They said they couldn’t charge me for the stay, even though free cancellation would still have been available until the day before, and they didn’t even bother to call and tell me. Calling this terrible is putting it mildly. Luckily, we’re a young couple and were able to change our plans quickly. It all worked out much better, and we found a spectacular hotel for less. They need to learn to treat customers better. If zero stars were an option, that’s what they’d deserve!
