Hotel Montana

We’ve stayed in Montana about six times now, in both winter and summer, and we keep coming back for the mountain’s magic. It isn’t Cortina or overpolished, but it has soul. The location is wonderful, the staff are always kind, and they’re very friendly with kids and dogs. Rooms are clean, the pool is lovely, and the food feels real. Plus, the sunshine just keeps going 🫶

The hotel has some imperfections, but the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and made the stay feel close to perfect. Dinners were excellent, especially for anyone who loves Italian food. Breakfast was simpler, though the great coffee and fresh orange juice were a nice touch. The pool and wellness area were excellent, with lots for both kids and adults to do. The local ski resort may not suit demanding skiers, but we’d happily come back for the kids and for ourselves too.

The road up is winding and steep, but the views from the top make it worthwhile. From the sauna on the top floor, the panorama is even more impressive, and there are binoculars there too, which was amazing. Inside, the hotel is modern and stylish, with clean, tidy rooms and a fantastic wellness area. We also really liked the restaurant: delicious food, friendly staff, and good organization. I loved this place.

The mountain views add a lot to the hotel, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and supportive, creating a welcoming feel. As a Muslim guest, I especially appreciated that they let us know which food options were suitable. That thoughtfulness helped us feel comfortable and relaxed.
