We'd stayed here for the first time in 2006 and returned every year through 2015. This year we came back for the memories, even though it's the most expensive hotel in the area. The only thing I noticed that had changed since 2006 was the LED lightbulbs. It was a complete mess, the worst experience I've had in a decade, and I honestly recommend avoiding the place at all costs. When we arrived late at night, our room was dirty and not ready. The receptionists moved us into the biggest apartment at the top, which was the worst room I've ever stayed in. We had no other choice at that hour, so we accepted it and planned to sort things out the next day. The room that was supposed to be ours was ready then, so we had to pack everything into the car and move to another building. We spent two afternoons at reception discussing compensation. We wanted a refund and to leave, but they said it was Sunday and nobody could return our money. In the end, the Getur hotels operator and someone who seemed to be some kind of manager offered us a free drink at the bar. Shame and scam. Photos of what we found are below.

It's warm and cosy, and only a short walk from the slope. The place isn't perfect, but the accommodation is reasonably priced and good enough. The price-to-value ratio is perfect, and I have no complaints.
For a cheap base on a ski trip, this place is good enough. You get what you pay for, so don't expect anything fancy at that price.
The room was average for the low price, and the location was nice, but there's no Wi-Fi. You can hear it whenever someone turns on water anywhere in the building. We arrived around 6 pm on Saturday and waited in the check-in line for more than two hours. It was absolutely terrible, with just two guys at the front desk trying to handle around 100 people.
Like a museum of torture. The furniture feels medieval, there aren't even chairs in the room, and sheets aren't included in the standard price. The toilet makes a noisy splashing sound all night. Staff can't speak English, apart from a few of them. They keep fixing things as they fall apart, with no new investment since perhaps the 80s.
