The bedroom blinds let light pour in all night. At first I thought we were missing something, but apparently that’s just how they are. The apartment felt dated, and though the facade looked okay, there was serious mould. It also needed a proper vacuum under the bed, not just in the visible spots. Check-in was frustrating because the office was unattended, and management were rude and unhelpful when we tried to reach them. We seemed to be disturbing their aperitif. A horrible stay. Avoid it.

We were given a warm welcome by the owner, who explained everything we needed to know. The apartment was clean, with a fully equipped kitchen and pleasant, simple furnishings. You’re right in the center, which is an excellent location.

After asking us to pay on arrival, the staff left us to fend for ourselves. If anything goes wrong, you’re on your own. We had no hot water after our first shower on day one. We called and texted several times, but were told to wait. At midnight, more than four hours later, it was still freezing, and they said that since it was July we could take cold showers. We had a 4-year-old daughter with us. They also said the room was for 3 people, so four showers weren’t their problem, even though they charged us extra for the 4th bed. I’ve never dealt with staff this rude or unhelpful.
