I’ve been here five times, and every stay has been lovely. Daniela and Yuri are fantastic and always make you feel welcome. Breakfast is the one thing that could use work. It’s brought to the room, which sounds handy, but eating there isn’t very comfortable. A proper place to sit and have breakfast together would make a real difference. I hope they add one.

The restaurant wasn’t open, and the whole stay felt like a letdown. The rooms didn’t look like the photos, and it was freezing inside, with no heat at night despite it being 3 degrees outside. Breakfast was a joke for the price. You could get a much better hot meal at another hotel. This place is overpriced and could be great, but it was a disaster.

The gardens are lovely, and the apartments are spacious. It’s an old monastery that’s been renovated into a modern hotel.

It’s a peaceful place to come back to after a full day out exploring. The quiet road and calm setting made it relaxing, even though the drive to the main towns takes a while. We loved staying at Abbadia Sicille Relais, and I’ll choose it whenever I visit Tuscany.

I expected to stay in the actual castle because of how the booking was presented, so that part was confusing. Instead, the room is elsewhere. It was clean and really spacious, and staying in an old “castle” was an interesting experience. Breakfast was quite basic and maybe a little small, though the way it was served was interesting. I wish guests could stay inside the castle itself.
