The apple treats Cristina made from fruit in her orchards were amazing, and she brought us a big, delicious breakfast in our room every morning. She was so sweet and helpful, letting us know about local events, and we felt completely welcome. We stayed five nights in October, right when the local apple festival was on. It was a great way to experience the place with local people, with plenty of good food and wine. The town was cute, with gorgeous views of the Dolomite mountains from every window. It felt like a perfect quiet getaway, but Trento and other bigger cities were still an easy drive away, and the UNESCO Dolomite sites were maybe an hour and a half away. Even though it's a small town, there are lots of restaurants and things to do nearby. One thing to be aware of: bring your own toiletries, or be ready to buy more at the nearby grocery store when the supplied ones run out. That may include toilet paper.

We absolutely loved our week in the apartment in quiet Smarano, with its majestic view of the snowy Dolomiti. My cousin recommended the place, and it was close to where my ancestors were born. We connected with Angelo and Cristina, the bed and breakfast owners, right away and felt like family. We're so grateful to have met such beautiful people, inside and out.

Cristina was always ready to help and shared loads of information about the area and things to do in Val di Non. Her breakfast was a real treat, carefully made each morning with local homemade products. She's worked in this business all her life with so much passion and enthusiasm. We stayed a week in this quiet, welcoming place. The room was simple but tidy, very well kept and clean, with a wonderful balcony view. It was a great discovery, with so many activities and authentic landscapes worth seeing.

Cristina looked after us so well during our three days there. The breakfasts were plentiful and delicious, with her juices and jams. She's knowledgeable, kind, and professional. The place was spotless and had a beautiful view. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was a real highlight, with different homemade specialties from local ingredients every day. Cristina was welcoming and friendly, and helped us pick routes and restaurants nearby. The hotel is simply furnished in a modern style and sits in a peaceful setting, well placed for exploring Val di Non.
