Kind Hotel Vervasio

The setting is nice, and the hotel itself is fairly new, but I wasn't very satisfied. I was only told on arrival that the spa wasn't accessible. The room was clean but small and a little cold, and the view was of a nearby building site. Breakfast was meager and didn't match the place, with no typical local products. Unless amaretti biscuits count as a typical Trentino breakfast now. Avoid!

The staff's kindness stood out from the first phone call through to our arrival. Our room had a modern mountain style, with light wood paneling, a clean wood smell, and big windows facing the pine forest that made it bright and warm. The hotel has a generous breakfast buffet served until 9:45, and a good restaurant. I recommend the strangolapreti speck e salvia, a thumb-sized green dumpling. It's well placed for getting around Val di Non, with many lovely hiking spots 20-30 minutes away. There are plenty of activity brochures in the small reception, which makes planning easier even if you're disorganized. The hotel also has a spa and all the comforts you need.

We found our room spacious and clean, and the single beds could easily be pushed together. There are several trails close by, so it's a good hotel for anyone who likes hiking. Amenities include a 24-hour bar with outdoor seating and a relaxation area with a sauna and Turkish bath.

The food was excellent, and the pizzas were delicious and fluffy. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful, and there's a small spa that you can reserve for private use for two hours. The hotel sits among apple orchards just outside a small town, with a lovely park for children right outside and plenty of peace and quiet.
