The owner and staff were so welcoming, and the food was excellent. It's a lovely spot with a peaceful, family-friendly feel. We'd happily come back. Definitely worth a visit.

The service was a mess from the start. We were there for a ceremony, and the staff seemed to be improvising, even struggling with French-style service. They may as well have plated the food. We didn't eat until midnight, and the pasta was overcooked with a sauce that had no flavor. The ham was poor quality too. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

That bottle of Sagrantino went perfectly with dinner, and the bill was very fair. Mauro started us off with complimentary focaccia and bruschetta, both delicious. The food was plentiful too, from the excellent strangozzi with porcini mushrooms to the lamb with really good baked potatoes. We had a lovely meal last night.

We stayed and ate here for two days, and the location made it easy to visit nearby sights, which the owners also suggested. The farmhouse is welcoming for families, and both the food and service were high quality. Our room had all the basics covered, including toiletries and slippers. The owners' warmth and dedication are what make the place special. We booked because of how kind and welcoming the host was on the phone, which is unusual in Umbria, and we're glad we did. Under new management, it's surrounded by greenery and away from the paid parking and restricted traffic zones found in nearby towns. I'd highly recommend it.
