The shower was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Zouki, who was particularly kind and understanding toward the older people in our group. I was on a five-day tour with 15 cricketers. After an initial booking.com mistake, the staff did their best to sort it out, and our needs were met. My room was small, with a mediocre bed, at the back of the hotel about 200m from the busy train line. I didn't mind much since I was having a great time and only needed the basics. The busy roundabout next door did make it feel noisy. Breakfast was basic: cereal, croissants, bread, biscuits, ham and cheese, plus a coffee machine. It's a 10-minute walk into the old town.

A helpful, kind staff is a real bonus here. It's a very good, compact hotel that I'd highly recommend for a quick business trip or a one- or two-day stay. Everything was great.

The electronic doors weren't working, and the hotel management was poor. If you can, avoid this supposed three-star hotel.

Giovanni deserves a special mention. He spoke good English, made check-in smooth, arranged for my luggage to be taken to my room after I left for a day trip to milan, and answered my many questions with a smile. I wish more of the hotel staff I'd met during my past three weeks in italy had been as courteous and helpful as Giovanni. Thanks again, Giovanni! The hotel suited what I needed: the room was clean, the breakfast decent, the price within my budget, the air conditioning worked well, and parking was just outside.

There was hardly anything in the room, and the breakfast was terrible. Yogurt was the only thing I could eat. Noise came from the road outside and from other rooms' doors.
