We’ve stayed in all sorts of hotels, motels, and B&Bs during our 12 years of traveling to Italy, and Vigna Rosa B&B has become our gold standard. We’d choose it again without hesitation. Federica & Emilio always make us feel at home, with warm hospitality from check-in through checkout. The rooms are spotless and kept in pristine condition, while the villa and garden are stunning. We love relaxing in the yard and taking in the breathtaking lake view. I didn’t post photos because I’m no photographer and wouldn’t do the place justice, but the pictures from other guests should give you an idea of what a gem it is. The B&B is on a quiet street with free parking, and just a stroll away from shops, cafes, restaurants, the lake, the main town square, and the bus stop. We’re counting the days until our next holiday brings us back!

The breakfast really made our two-day stay stand out, with lots of fresh local products from the owner’s own vegetable garden. The house was cozy, and the owner was extremely kind and available. The view was astonishing, and both the room and bathroom were really clean. I didn’t want to go home. I strongly recommend this place!

The owner and his wife were good hosts. After we cycled over from Bolsena on our bike tour, they even came to pick us up from the nearby bar. It was a nice place. You can follow our progress on Twitter with the hashtag #bikingpilgrims.

Federica, the host, is a fantastic woman. We had an unforgettable day in this enchanting place, and the magnificent terrace over the lake really restores your spirits. It’s ideal if you want to relax and enjoy nature. We’ll certainly return.

For a relaxing break with nature and some culture, this enchanting place is well worth another visit. There’s La Banditaccia di Cerveteri, Tuscania, Viterbo, and the thermal baths to explore. We spent unforgettable days here, with great hospitality and a magnificent lake view from the terrace that felt truly refreshing.
