Locanda Ponte Dante

The people were really nice and the food was good, though nothing special. Parking was a hassle, either expensive street parking or a lot quite a distance away. The hotel also had a strong moldy smell.

The Osteria at the hotel serves high-quality regional food and is definitely worth recommending. Breakfast was good too, with eggs, cereal, yogurt, and sweet pastries. This is a small hotel near Treviso’s old center, with stylish, spacious rooms. They were clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. A recommendation all around.

Our room was called Rebecca, with a large modern bathroom and big picture windows looking over the river and old town. The 15th-century Locanda is preserved and visible, while the rooms have modern fixtures. We’d booked two different rooms for two nights because one room wasn’t available, but our hosts arranged for us to stay in the same room throughout. The location is right by the Sila river in old town Treviso. Breakfast was à la carte and tasty, and the bar and restaurant had a lively feel with outdoor seating.

The location is ideal, near the main station and city center but away from the rush. My room was beautiful, clean, spacious, and had everything I needed, even more than I expected. Getting an early check-in was a real plus. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I recommend it, especially if you’re traveling alone.
