We had good contact with the owner before and during arrival. The room was very clean, and breakfast was delicious. Five stars, definitely recommend.

The room was clean and furnished nicely, but I don’t think we’ll stay again. We were charged €15 for our 3.7kg dog, which felt totally out of proportion. I did forget to mention the dog when booking, but the fee wasn’t disclosed on Booking. The owner also asked where the dog sleeps in a tone that felt almost inquisitive, as if it were a 50kg beast.

The mother and daughter who manage the B&B were attentive and always available, and the location is convenient, with public transport right outside. I loved that pets are welcome, which is rare, along with breakfast delivered to the room and all the thoughtful details. Everything was beautiful and well kept. At first I liked both women a lot, so the disappointment was hard. The trouble came when I had a problem with my dog at checkout. I was meant to leave at noon, but it took an extra hour. The daughter, with what looked like an obviously fake smile, started cursing me and sent messages by text and WhatsApp saying the police would kick me and my dog out. I still don’t understand why, especially since an hour earlier they’d said my dog was the best behaved they’d ever hosted. I asked her several times to call the police, but she never did. Maybe it was because, despite my requests, she never gave me an invoice or receipt for the full stay. I suspect doing things under the table was more advantageous for her. She said plenty, but that was all. There were other problems too: no fresh towels or sheets, no mini trash bags, no soap, and no cleaning. I had to take the bathroom rubbish out myself every day and find new bags. When I asked about the lack of morning cleaning and said I was desperate to do it myself, she offered me a broom, cloths, and disinfectant if I really wanted to. I said I’d clean the room, but asked her to at least change the sheets and towels. She said they only change and clean when a guest leaves. I accepted that, but then the stay should cost €50, not €95. There wasn’t even soap in the bathroom, and I had to go looking for a supermarket to get many things myself. With a simple change in management, things could be better.
