Agriturismo Fica Torta

The setting is lovely, away from the noise and bustle of the city and the Salento area. There's real potential here. When we had trouble with our car, the hosts promptly called a garage to help us. Our family room was small, though it came with a large private patio. The lounge chairs had so many flies on them that we couldn't sit comfortably. The bathroom and shower were also very small. When we booked the family room for two, the door to the second room wasn't left open, and we could hear the neighbors coming and going because of how the rooms are built. At night the AC stopped working. We told the host, but it wasn't fixed, and when we asked to use the second room in the family room because its AC worked, that wasn't opened for us either. Breakfast was okay, but there was no fresh fruit. Despite the name, they didn't serve fresh figs, even though they were in season. We had to ask for toilet paper when it ran out, and the towels didn't smell fresh. We didn't find the place or the hosts very welcoming or hospitable. Maybe the agriturismo is more focused on its restaurant than on guests, but that left us not wanting to try the restaurant either.
