Hotel Il Vascello

The morning views were beautiful, with none of the noise and bustle of city life. We came in the evening hoping to find somewhere by the sea, and this place worked perfectly for us. It's not a four or five star hotel, but our rooms were spotless, the sheets neatly pressed, and the terraces were large and furnished for sitting outside. It was peaceful, and breakfast was generous, with omelettes, cheese, cold cuts, fruit, juices, and spreads. Rooms 201 and 303 worked well, the first felt cosier for a couple, the other better for friends or kids. Thanks for the hospitality. We'll be back.

The huge terrace gave us room to enjoy the sun and the sea view, and the water was just a stone's throw away. The room itself was superb. The gentleman serving us even made coffee each day, though he didn't have to. My wife and I travel a lot because we want to see as much of the world as we can, especially Italy, which I love. We came to Tricasa and booked Hotel Il Vascello for a week of rest from driving and sightseeing. For its category, the hotel is top class. If it weren't so far away, I'd gladly stay here every year. Thank you, a memory for life.

The room was clean and had a great view. We were the only ones having dinner, and they hadn't seen our reservation request through the booking app. They were flexible, though, and managed to make us a tasty meal. During this Covid period, the village had very few tourists.

Marina Serra is a lovely place to spend a few days by the sea, and the grotta with its great natural pool is just a minute away. I have a soft spot for these slightly vintage, white resort hotels, and Il Vascello fits that style. It's comfortable and has great views, even if it isn't luxurious.
