I managed to cancel the deposit payment in time, which was the one positive part of this experience. Despite the arrangements we had made, the owner unfairly canceled my vacation after deciding to rent the same apartment to someone else on the same day, which was a holiday. I had confirmed the booking by bank transfer, but those transfers, as is well known, are processed on the first working day of the stay. If you’re planning a vacation here, be extremely careful about booking on holidays.

The hosts were welcoming and friendly, and the apartment had every comfort. We stayed for a week in this very green setting. It’s also well placed for visiting all the beaches on both the Adriatic and Ionian sides of Salento.

Welcoming, affordable, clean, and straightforward. It felt real.
