B&B Hotel Trieste

What appears in the booking photos doesn’t all match what you get. The top left image shows their bathroom, while the other pictures are closer to what to expect in reality. The room itself was good, and I appreciate having a hotel in the lower price range. Parking at parcheggio silos was 12€ per day when paid at the hotel. The room options should be shown more clearly during booking, especially since other guests mention the same problem.

The service was very friendly, and breakfast had plenty of choices, including gluten free options if requested. The scrambled eggs were a little dry. Rooms are spacious and well insulated from sound, but they get quite warm, and it was too cold outside to use the AC. Bathroom ventilation could also be better.

It’s handy for the train station, and the staff I spoke with were helpful and friendly. My room was clean overall, but it was so warm and there was no way to open a window or change the temperature, which made staying there uncomfortable. Fine for a night, though I didn’t want to spend longer.

This is a decent budget hotel, so don’t come expecting luxury. We stayed one night and had a pleasant time, and I’d choose it again if I return to Trieste. The receptionist was really helpful and friendly, with excellent English. It’s close to the centre and the main sights are walkable. Driving there is easy, but the parking garage, Silos, is about 300 meters away. Booking parking through the hotel is much cheaper than doing it yourself. The nearby street can be a bit noisy in the morning, but it wasn’t a big problem.
