Bed Breakfast Grim

The owners were welcoming at first. At breakfast the next day, I noticed some jams were three months past their expiration date and took photos. When I reported it, the owner's father arrived and replaced them while I was in the bathroom, as if trying to make me think I had been mistaken. He also came over to count the coffee pods and asked, "How many coffees do you make?" We were very disappointed. It was a negative experience, something that had never happened to me in more than 30 years of staying at B&Bs.

I live in Milan and have often traveled to Trieste for work, usually staying at this B&B. Its location makes it convenient to reach the city. The rooms are welcoming, just like the owner and her daughter, and the whole property is clean. It is well equipped with all the comforts you could want for a pleasant stay, whether for work or leisure, and is close to the city center. I highly recommend it. After four bookings, I can say it has everything.

Hello everyone! I spent five nights at B&B Grim and really enjoyed my stay. The room was well heated and had everything I needed, the bathroom was clean and tidy, and breakfast was generous. The owner is very kind and helpful, and I was glad to meet the other young guests as well. I travel often and make frequent trips to Trieste. Recently, whenever I return, I stay at B&B Grim and have been very happy there. It feels like home! The quiet rooms are surrounded by a private garden. I always request a single room with its own bathroom. It is small but perfect, and nearly all the rooms have private bathrooms anyway. The place is warm, welcoming, and somewhat informal. The owners' hospitality and friendliness make you feel at ease right away. Virginia will quickly understand what you need and how to help. Breakfast is plentiful and includes lots of sweets, but you can share your preferences and they will usually accommodate them. I removed gluten from my diet, for example, and had gluten-free options, yogurt, and fruit in the morning. Everything was fine overall, and I recommend the place. My only complaint is that this room is next to the kitchen, so early-rising guests may disturb your morning rest. The location is convenient, with good bus connections and only an eight-minute trip to the city center. Prices are fairly low, and discounts are offered for longer stays.
