Hotel Istria

For my one-night stay, the hotel suited me well, especially because the location worked so well. The room was simple, but clean and comfortable, with an air conditioning unit. I’d stay again.

The rooms are great, and the staff are genuinely kind. It worked well for a stay in Trieste, whether short or longer.

It’s a low-cost way to stay in central Trieste and have a private room. There’s no luxury here: you make your own bed when you arrive, and the bathrooms are shared. Even so, I thought it was a good budget option for sleeping in the city.

There are all kinds of restaurants and cafés around the hotel, so finding an Italian breakfast nearby is easy. Inside, our room was clean and simply styled, and we could hear traffic, though closing the window kept it from disturbing our sleep. The staff made us feel welcome from day one and were so committed and friendly. They even called a place for us to arrange an appointment. Great deal, and we’d love to return.
