Hotel Mura 5&7

The location was nice, but that was the only good part for us. The room was on the fourth floor, and even with mild, rainy weather outside, we couldn’t get the temperature below 26 degrees. We turned the AC up and asked the front desk for help, but nothing changed. We set the controls as they instructed, kept the windows shut as requested, and they even left the room power on around the clock. The hall and lobby were cool, which made me think the wall unit in our room was basically just a fan. It was cooler outside than in the room, and sleeping was uncomfortable. We arrived half an hour after breakfast began. There were some juices, one kind of yogurt, a few pastries, and two strips of meat, maybe turkey. Booking.com described breakfast as “very wonderful,” but this was the saddest breakfast I’ve seen in more than 20 hotel stays in Italy. I can’t eat gluten or dairy, so we went across the street and bought breakfast on both mornings. Eggs, fruit, and more meat would’ve helped. What was served also didn’t look like the hotel’s photos on Google. I’m not sure why this hotel has so many good reviews.
