The location of La Porte Blu made exploring Trieste easy, and the apartment itself was spotless, modern, and thoughtfully equipped. Its design has both style and character, with details like the Prosecco in the fridge to celebrate our wedding. We also appreciated that it welcomed pets, especially since we were traveling with our Italian greyhound. The lack of dedicated parking was a drawback, and nearby parking could be expensive, but the stay was still well worth it. Gianpaolo made a big difference. He gave us a warm, personal welcome and shared excellent restaurant suggestions and local finds. His enthusiasm for Trieste came through, and his tips helped us connect with the city in a more meaningful way. A drying spot by the sink and some cleaning spray would have been handy, particularly as there’s no daily housekeeping. Angelo was a wonderful guide and a great ambassador for Trieste and Italy. The apartment was exceptionally clean, with modern equipment and everything brand new. We had a great time in the city, and the service was high quality. We’ll definitely return to La Porte Blu.

We had two rooms for seven people for one night. They were spotless and lovely, with thoughtful decor down to the little details. Our host was warm and welcoming. The location is ideal, though street parking is limited if you’re arriving by car. I’d highly recommend it!

The owner was so helpful, kind, and had great taste. You can feel Mr. Gianpaolo’s care and attention in all the details. We spent three days in Trieste with friends, sharing the Maria and Adele apartments. Both were lovely, fully equipped, and in a great spot for visiting the city. Everything matched the photos, and was even better in person. We had a great time, and for once, they exceeded what we expected. Everything was perfect. Thank you so much 🙏
