Finding parking nearby was the one real headache. The attic is on the fourth floor, though there is an elevator. It’s a welcoming place for a couple, even with room for up to four, and has a kitchenette, fridge, dishwasher, coffee machine, washing machine and hairdryer. They’ve even thought of little things like a razor if you’ve forgotten yours.

The owners were so warm and friendly, and the place feels more like someone’s home than a standard rental. It’s right by the sea in a very central spot, cute and really well looked after. If you arrive after the shops have closed, there’s still what you need to make food and eat in. Forgot a charger? There’s likely a suitable one in the library, and have a look at the books while you’re there.

A lovely attic with air conditioning and an elevator, and it has all the basics you need. There’s luggage storage near the station at a reasonable price, although space is limited.
