The rooms are good, the host is really nice, and the location is exactly where you'd want to be. I'd walk from the train station rather than take a bus. It's 20 min, and figuring out which bus to take is probably more hassle.

Parking was the main downside for us. There isn't a dedicated spot, so you can leave the car on the road outside at the risk of getting a ticket. We parked there for four days and luckily didn't get one. Finding parking in central Trieste is almost impossible anyway. We rented an apartment for a week in November, and the host, whose name I unfortunately forgot, was really nice and helpful. He gave us a map of Triest and marked attractions as well as places to eat and drink. The apartment was well placed near shops and restaurants, and the rooms were modern, cosy, and nice.
The apartment is lovely and spacious. A little more attention to cleaning would make it perfect. Grazie mille Massimo.
The rooms were spacious and tidy, and the air conditioner worked perfectly. The receptionist treated me very well, and I really enjoyed my stay. Just keep in mind that, as the hotel description says, there is no elevator, so heavy bags could be a challenge. I loved the place and would recommend it.
The apartment is quiet and right in the centre, with a very comfortable bed. The renovation of the old building is really good, and the apartment is very clean. Parking is easy at another place, though it costs extra, 15€ per day. Thank you Massimo.
