The reception staff were very friendly, and the linen was clean, so I’ve given it another star. The room itself was old, with floorboards and doors that creaked and squeaked badly. There was no air conditioning, and street noise made it hard to sleep. The shared bathroom was narrow, not very functional, and fitted with old equipment. It could use some refurbishment. I was only here for one night, but getting a good rest was difficult.

There are lots of food choices nearby, and for a cheap, clean place to sleep in Italy, this could work well. The workers are really kind, and the place is very clean, with a nice view of the street. Dogs are allowed and welcomed, though they have to stay in your room because there are also two cats. The other guests were quiet. There’s a fridge and microwave to share with everyone. Parking is the main drawback: there are no free spaces, and the available spots are usually full. Even so, I’d highly recommend it.

The location was great, close to the center, and the bus stop for Miramare is just around the corner. The receptionist was kind and the room was clean. There’s a small sink in the room, which was handy for brushing my teeth or getting drinking water without going to the shared bathroom. There was also a kettle, but only plastic cups, and the tea and coffee box was empty.

The cat was a plus. Otherwise, I found it noisy for sleeping, and staff weren't very comfortable speaking English, so they kept trying Italian. It was also hard to get in touch before arrival about late check-in and other details. It’s a cheap place, but 56 € felt a lot for this sort of accommodation. Four years ago, places like this cost 25. There was a sink beside the bed, and the decor felt old and cheap. Fine for one night if you just need somewhere to sleep before leaving, but I didn't leave delighted.
