It was clean, but don’t expect much else. If you’re on the ground floor, you may not get a nice view from the window, and I didn’t think the location was good. A couple of tea bags and softer pillows would make a big difference, the ones we had felt like boxing bags and made it hard to get good sleep. The nightly price is very high for what you get, though staying in Trieste is absurdly expensive for reasons I can’t explain.

The apartments were clean, nicely decorated and equipped well enough, with IKEA furniture that was okay. The location didn’t work for us, far from the center and with no shops nearby. We were surprised to be charged for a parking spot we hadn’t reserved on the Booking website, and also asked to pay tourist tax that the site hadn’t mentioned.

The room was small, and we could hear the neighbors the whole time. It’s about 40 minutes from the center, and parking costs extra. Very overpriced, wouldn’t recommend.

I stay here for work, and having a kitchen and bathroom in each apartment is handy. The place is clean and comfortable. Parking is the one drawback, since there are fewer spaces than apartments.

The apartment was nice, clean, and had a lovely view. But hauling our bags up three flights of stairs was exhausting. The hosts had asked us to share our arrival time days ahead, and we did, but nobody was there when we arrived. We called, and a woman told us where the key had been left.
